When the red oil warning light illuminates on a Fiat Punto EVO, it means that the engine oil and the oil filter need to be replaced. After changing the engine oil, you must reset the warning light.

To do this, access the service menu using the buttons on the steering wheel. The oil warning light can also appear amber; in this case, a replacement may not be necessary, but you might need to top up the engine oil in the reservoir.

No reset of the light is required in this situation.
