In this video, we will see how the ventilation system of the Fiat 500L has a filter on the intake that prevents dust and dirt from entering the cabin. To maintain efficiency, we need to replace it periodically.

Position yourself in the front passenger seat, unscrew the screw that secures the final panel of the centre tunnel, remove the two push-fit clips securing the panel under the glove compartment, and take it out. At the end of the tunnel, near the bulkhead, you will find the cover of the filter box. Disconnect the nearby electrical connector for easier access.

Unscrew the screws securing the cover, remove the old filter, install a new one, close the cover and secure it with the screws, reconnect the connector, and reassemble the two panels.
