Let's see how to remove the rear shock absorber on a Fiat Punto. The first step: loosen the wheel nuts, lift the car on a column lift, and remove the rear wheel. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the mounting bolts of the shock absorber at the wheel hub (detach the brake line tubes with a screwdriver). Unscrew the bolt located at the side (top part of the shock absorber), and remove the shock absorber from its housing (place a support under the bar). Compare the old part with the new one and prepare for installation. Fit the new shock absorber onto the car, proceeding in reverse.

Next, unscrew the housing, remove the old filter, insert the replacement along with a new gasket, and reassemble everything.
