In this video we can see how to start a Fiat Ducato in case the battery dies. The first thing to do is to locate the battery itself, which is not in the engine compartment, but under the floor, in front of the left seat. We will open the compartment with the ignition key. If we need to connect the battery to a booster or another vehicle, we should not connect the clamps to the battery, but there are attachment points in other parts of the vehicle. Under the hood, right in the center, there is a protruding bolt which is the grounding point, namely the negative pole. Looking to the right of it, we will find a small cover, in which we will insert the ignition key to open it. Inside we find the connection for the positive pole, which should be connected first compared to the negative one. We can then start the van; disconnection will occur in reverse order.
