In this video we can see how to replace the timing belt of the engine of a Fiat Ducato 2.3 88 Kw. To be more understandable, it is a bench replacement. The spare parts codes are shown in the video, as it is sponsored by ContiTech. We need to remove the expansion tank, the windshield washer fluid reservoir, and the belt protection cover. We position the engine at top dead center of cylinder number 1, inserting the pins into the crankshaft and camshaft, as shown by the youtuber, showing us the correct assembly of them. Now we can loosen the tensioner pulley and remove the belt. In the illustrated case, we will also need to remove the sprocket from the fuel pump. In the kit we also find some gaskets, which have different functions depending on the color and size. After installing the new parts, it is time to reassemble the belt, which must be installed following the diagram that we can see in the video, following a counterclockwise direction, starting from the crankshaft pulley, which must be tensioned with great care, following the youtuber's instructions, who is a professional.
