How to Remove the Front Shock Absorber on a Fiat Ducato

Model: Fiat Ducato X250 - Years 2006-2014

Loosen the wheel nuts, lift the vehicle on a column lift, and remove the wheel. Use a socket to unscrew the bolts securing the shock absorber to the wheel hub (disconnect the brake line tubes with a screwdriver). Lower the vehicle with the lift and unscrew the bolts on the side (top part of the shock absorber), then remove the shock absorber from its housing. Compare the old part with the new one and prepare to mount the shock absorber onto the spring using a compression tool. Once assembled, proceed to install the shock absorber.
