How to remove the door panel and external handle on a Fiat 500? Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the securing pins on the fixed handle on the door panel, and unscrew the pins located in the plastic of the lever (door opening).

Remove the handle from the door panel, then use a lever to detach the trim panel.

Remove the adhesive panel from the door with the lever and disconnect the cable from the lever, then unscrew the securing pins of the external handle. Reassemble everything in reverse order.
