How to Replace the Shock Absorber on a Fiat Doblo

Want to remove the rear shock absorber on a Fiat Doblo? Follow these steps carefully: loosen the wheel bolts with an appropriate tool (telescopic spanner or air impact wrench), lift the car on a column lift and remove the wheel. Using a socket spanner, unscrew the mounting bolts of the plastic splash guard (at the top), unscrew the bolt located at the side of the rear bumper; slide the shock absorber out of its housing. Compare the old part with the new one and prepare for installation: insert the shock absorber into its housing and first tighten all the bolts at the top of the shock absorber, then secure the lower part to the wheel hub.
