The issue of difficulty opening the doors from the outside is quite well-known on this model and is caused by an elongation of the cables connecting the handle to the lock. You can resolve this problem by bending the bracket to compensate for the elongation and keep the cables under tension. To perform this operation, start by removing the handle, beginning with the removal of the interior trim panel. Remove the screws along the lower edge, those under the interior handle, and the one inside the opening lever housing. Once the panel is removed, access the handle housing, disconnect the cables, and unscrew the three securing nuts.
