How to Remove the Mirror Caps of a Fiat 500X

To remove the caps from the side mirrors of a Fiat 500X, fully lower the door glass, identify the two upper clips behind the mirror, then use a soft tool to lift the first clip, the innermost one, and slightly pull away the edge of the cap. Move the mirror down by pressing on the upper outer corner to expose the second clip and unlock that one as well. With the cap slightly raised, pull laterally on the part of the cap near the door to release an additional side catch. Under the cap, there are two clips: a simple front clip and a more complex rear clip. Pry underneath the front clip until it fully releases. The rear clip needs to be pushed down to come out of its housing (the others release upwards and laterally). The arrow is secured by three clips: two lateral and one lower. For reassembly, insert the cap starting from the lower catches, slightly widening the area of the rear clip to facilitate entry, then press evenly until you hear the "clicks" of securing.
