How to Solve the Excessive Heating Problem in the Footwell of the Fiat Tipo
Model: Fiat Tipo
356, 358, 357
- Years 2016-2026
A defect reported by many owners of this Fiat model is excessive heating in the footwell caused by poor thermal insulation of the central tunnel coverings right at the location of the internal cabin radiator; since the coolant circulates in the cabin heating radiator, its temperature exceeds 80°C, allowing external air to easily surpass 60°C; an easy and economical way to resolve this issue is to insulate the internal radiator area with thermal insulating material such as panels that can be applied behind radiators, but a sunshade solution is also effective; therefore, remove the plastic covering, apply the thermal insulating material, and reassemble the panel.
