How to Install a Reversing Camera in a Fiat 500X

To install a reversing camera on a Fiat 500X, open the tailgate and remove the interior trim to access the area above the number plate, where the camera is usually mounted. Position the reversing camera in the chosen location, often integrated into the tailgate handle or near the number plate lights, and route the wiring inside the tailgate following the original cable paths. Next, run the cable along the side pillars and beneath the interior trims until you reach the car radio or the Uconnect system. Connect the camera's power to the reverse light wires to activate it automatically when reversing, then connect the video signal to the display via a compatible interface or dedicated input. Finally, reassemble all panels and check the correct operation by engaging reverse.
