The steps outlined in this guide will illustrate the procedure for replacing the engine oil and oil filter on the Fiat Talento. First, lift the vehicle and begin unscrewing the securing screws found on the lower cover of the engine to remove it; then unscrew the engine oil drain plug, allowing the oil to drain into a container for about ten minutes.

At this point, unscrew the oil filter cartridge with the appropriate tool, then replace the filter cartridge with a new original one; screw it in by hand and gently tighten the oil filter, finally topping up with new engine oil.
