How to Replace the Cabin Air Filter on a Fiat 500

The cabin air filter on the Fiat 500 is located behind the passenger glove compartment, within the climate control housing. Slide the seat all the way back to create space, and remove all items from the compartment, which is held by two pins on the sides. Press them inward and pull towards you to release it. Behind, you will see a rectangular plastic cover secured with cross-head screws; unscrew them. Remove the dirty filter, paying attention to the orientation of the arrows (to install the new one in the same direction). Clean the compartment thoroughly from dust and debris, then place the new, clean filter in position, ensuring correct orientation. Close the cover and reassemble the glove compartment. That's it.
