How do you replace the key remote battery of a Fiat 500X? Take the remote and press the release button of the metal key. Once the metal key is out, unscrew the tiny screw located in the key cover (in the space where the metal key fits). Remove the plastic battery holder, then replace it with a new one of the same size and voltage using a small screwdriver. Install the new battery in the compartment and finally in the cover. Check the proper functioning of the remote by pressing the buttons.
