Do you want to manually unlock the automatic gearbox on a Fiat 500? Let’s see how to proceed in this video. First, take the gear knob and check its locking status, then remove the cover cap located at the edge of the centre console (right side).

To unlock: push the ignition key into the hole (see the video for how to unlock without the cover plastics), and move the gear knob through the various gear positions. Finally, refit the cover cap that was removed earlier.

If you cannot unlock it, remove the plastics.
