Replacing the Gear Shift Cable on Fiat Punto

If you are having issues with the gearbox, replace the control cables. Here's how to do it. Lift the car with a jack, open the gearbox casing, and disconnect all the cable securing clips. After disconnecting the cables, go to the engine bay: remove the battery from the engine compartment, and disconnect the cables directly above the engine (as shown in the video). Finally, check the individual removed parts (compare them with the new ones) and install the new cables from the engine bay to the gearbox. Test the correct operation of the previously installed parts.
