Replacing Remote Key Battery for Fiat 500x

Model: Fiat 500 500 X - Years 2014-2022

Required: CR2032 3V lithium battery (button type) and a flat screwdriver. Hold the key and extract the chrome part at one end, removing the emergency key. This operation will reveal two slots. One is more square where the key came out, the other is narrower. Gently insert the tip of the screwdriver and carefully twist it slightly. By levering in this way, the two halves of the remote will separate. One half will contain the battery, separated from the rest of the electronic circuitry. Lever the screwdriver along the edge of the battery to extract it. Once removed, replace it with the new one, ensuring the polarity is correct, with the “+” sign facing the circular seat. Reassemble the two halves and reposition the emergency key to securely lock the remote.
