Replace the diesel filter on a Fiat Freemont if you have driven many miles. Here’s how to dismantle and replace it. Lift the engine bonnet of the car, locate the fuel filter in the engine bay as shown in the video. Use a socket spanner to undo the securing bolts on the sides of the fuel filter. Once the bolts next to the container plate are removed, you can take the fuel filter out of the engine bay (disconnect the petrol circulation hoses). Fit the new diesel filter along with the hoses and electrical wires. Tighten the securing bolts. Close the bonnet of the Freemont and start the engine.
