How to remove the fuel filler flap on the Fiat 500? Let's see the disassembly process. Remove the rear wheel, then take off the splash guard under the wheel arch. Use a screwdriver or socket wrench to unscrew the bolts around the perimeter at the back of the fuel flap. After unscrewing the bolts, remove the bolts from the inner plastic of the fuel flap, take out all the screws, and remove the flap. Unscrew the screws if you need to remove the fuel filler neck. Fit the new fuel flap with the bolts and associated parts. Refit the splash guard and the rear wheel.
