How do you replace the coolant in a Grande Punto? Disconnect the lower radiator hose using a socket spanner and allow the fluid to drain into a container. Flush the cooling system with the appropriate flushing liquid: continue this process until the pipes and radiator are completely clean. Reconnect the hose under the vehicle. Top up the expansion tank with the new coolant. Start the engine and test the operation of the cooling circuit. Use the coolant specified by the manufacturer.
