Handbrake Adjustment Fiat Punto 2010

Model: Fiat Punto MK 2, 188 - Years 1999-2011

Remove the plastic cover located behind the handbrake and disconnect the connector using a small flat-head screwdriver. Unscrew the three exposed 10 mm nuts and remove the entire armrest. Use the flat-head screwdriver to pry under the now exposed plastic until it detaches from the spring clips holding it in place. At this point, unscrew the two screws at the corners and lift the frame just enough to access the adjustment screw (11 mm spanner) located behind the handbrake. Tighten this screw until the lever no longer rises more than normal, and you're done!
