First, ensure that you have resolved the issue that caused the engine light to come on; then get in the vehicle and connect your diagnostic tool (in this case, Multiecuscan) to the OBD port located under the plastic cover near the steering wheel.

At this point, select the make, model, and engine type, and perform the diagnostics; once the error is found, proceed with the reset!
