Replacing the Injection Pump on a Fiat Idea MultiJet

Today, learn how to remove the injection pump on a MultiJet engine (in this case, a Fiat Idea). Lift the bonnet and prop it open. Remove the battery and battery tray, and disconnect the return, feed, and pressure hoses (removing the clips and unscrewing the three related screws). Remove the cable clamp with a 10 mm socket; the screw is above the brake booster. This will also need to be removed by unscrewing the two screws that hold it in place. Now you can finally unscrew the mounting screws of the pump and remove it. To fit the new pump, proceed in reverse order.
