Fiat Idea - Video tutorial

Model: Fiat Idea MK 1 - Years 2003-2016
Part: Timing belt
Operation: How do I remove the timing chain on my Fiat Idea 1.3 multijet?

To disassemble the timing chain of your Fiat Idea with 1.3 MultiJet engine as well as having the right equipment, you must be an expert as it is not a simple operation. The advice is therefore to carry it out only if you are mechanically experienced enough and if you are sure to succeed perfectly, otherwise in addition to being able to do a lot of damage, we will be forced to spend much more then to have it "fixed" by a professional mechanic . The first thing to disassemble is the exhaust system so that it can be accessed more easily. Then the engine support must be removed by unscrewing the 7 bolts present and then the oil pan. Later from above we will have to remove the cover, the air ducts, the glow plugs, the injectors and everything else. At this point by rotating the flywheel we have to align the engine to take all the references. Now we unscrew the crankshaft bolts and the remaining bolts of the engine support and the cover until the distribution is visible. Now we have to remove the chain, the old chain tensioner and mount the new ones. At this point we put everything back together and that's it!

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
