Before you can start, position a container under the radiator of your Fiat 500. Begin by unscrewing and removing the lower drain plug, then wait for all the coolant to drain out before re-screwing the drain plug. Next, open the bonnet and unscrew and remove the top cap of the expansion tank.

At this point, add the new coolant. Once this step is complete, re-screw the top cap, and you will have finished the replacement.
