First, take your remote and start by removing the rear cover, prying it off with something thin; then remove the small round cover by turning it with a flat screwdriver.

At this point, remove and replace the battery found inside, of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 at 3V); simply insert it the right way round and assemble the remote!
