How to Replace the Rear Camera in a Fiat Freemont?

If the rear camera in your Fiat Freemont fails, you can proceed with the replacement without needing to go to a workshop. First, remove the inner panel of the tailgate by unscrewing the two Torx screws located at the bottom edge and unlocking the clips that hold it in place. Gently pull it down, being careful of the internal light cable, and disconnect its connector. Inside the tailgate, locate the connectors for the number plate lights and the camera and disconnect them. Outside, you will need to remove the number plate and the number plate holder to facilitate the removal of the mask that supports the camera and the lights. Then, remove the camera by unscrewing the two screws, but before installing the new one, test it to ensure the correct orientation. Reassemble the mask, number plate holder, and number plate, reconnect all internal connectors, and reattach the inner panel of the tailgate.
