How to Remove the Dashboard of a Fiat 500 L

Model: Fiat 500 Epoca - Years 1957-1975

Before you can start, open the front bonnet. This will give you all the space you need. Begin by removing the heating hoses located behind the fuel tank, simply pulling them out of their housing. Once done, proceed to unscrew and remove the speedometer cable. After disconnecting the speedometer cable, disconnect all the connectors located behind the dashboard. At this point, you will need to remove the knee bolster. Returning to the cabin, continue by unscrewing and removing the button bezels, thus removing the buttons themselves. Once the buttons are removed, use a flathead screwdriver to pry out the ashtray. After this, disassemble the speedometer by removing the two retaining clips located on its underside. When you have removed the speedometer, you can finally take out the dashboard, successfully completing the disassembly.
