How to Replace the External Lock Handle on the Fiat Panda

To access the car lock, first remove the door panels; these are snap-fitted but are mainly held in place by the window crank. Use a screwdriver to remove the clip that secures the crank. Now, remove the panels using a plastic screwdriver to unclip the panel that is secured with clips. Once the panel is removed, you will have access to the lock, which is held in place by a simple brass clip that is easy to remove by pulling it. At this point, go outside the car and remove the lock; once it is out, disconnect it from the plastic pin (it must be pulled out and released by rotating it). Insert the new lock from the outside and proceed to reassemble all components in reverse order.
