In this video tutorial, you can see how to replace the gear knob on a Fiat Punto independently if it is broken, by following just a few simple steps. First, get into your vehicle and apply the handbrake. Remove the old knob and insert the spring onto the gear stick; then place a rubber washer inside the new knob (see video). Next, insert the gear knob and check if the spring you installed earlier functions correctly by trying to lift it as if you were engaging reverse gear. At this point, you have completed the replacement of the knob.
