Removing Airbag on Fiat Grande Punto

Model: Fiat Punto MK 3, Punto EVO, 199, Grandepunto - Years 2005-2018

To begin, use a Torx key by inserting it into the two holes underneath the steering wheel. Once the key reaches the end of its travel, push and lift to detach the tab from its seat. When performing this operation on the second hole, the central part of the steering wheel will come out of the main structure. In the central part that will come out, there is the airbag. At this point, disconnect the cables and connectors, and you will have the airbag completely removed. At this stage, you can observe how the fastening tabs you initially worked on are constructed.
