Replacing the Radio in a Fiat Punto

Model: Fiat Punto MK 2, 188 - Years 1999-2011

Switch off the engine and the ignition, then remove the key. Insert the appropriate needle tools into the four holes at the corners of the radio and pull to extract it. Voila! Nothing easier! At this point, you will have the radio in your hand. First, disconnect the antenna, then the two connectors by pressing the tabs that hold them in place (do not pull the wires!). It is advisable to install a DIN adapter in place of the old radio. Next, insert the frame provided with the new unit, after passing all the cables through it, which you will connect to the new radio. Finally, insert it into position and fit the protective plastic.
