How do you remove the airbag from a Fiat 500? Here’s how to take off the airbag from above the steering wheel. Enter the cabin, locate the holes behind the steering wheel and under the plastic cover, then insert a screwdriver and unscrew the airbag securing screws. Once all the airbag screws (driver's side) are removed, disconnect the power connectors and take it off from above the steering wheel. For refitting the airbag, connect the power connectors, then press the airbag onto the steering wheel and screw in the securing screws. Test the horn operation on the new airbag.
