How to deactivate the passenger airbag in the Fiat 500?

To deactivate the passenger airbag in the Fiat 500, get inside the vehicle and turn on the ignition without starting the engine. On the dashboard, use the control buttons for the onboard computer, located near the instrument panel, to access the menu. Scroll through the options until you find "Passenger Airbag". Select the option and set it to "OFF", then confirm your choice. A dedicated warning light on the dashboard will illuminate to indicate that the passenger airbag is deactivated. In some versions, the operation can be performed via a key switch located on the side of the dashboard or in the glove compartment: insert the key, turn to OFF, and check that the warning light is illuminated.
