How to Update the TomTom Maps on a Fiat 500 X

In this video, you will learn how to update the TomTom maps on a Fiat 500 X. First, download the TomTom Home 2 program onto a USB stick (8 GB), formatted to FAT32. Insert the USB stick into the vehicle's designated port. On the control panel, go to 'Settings' and scroll with the arrow until you find 'Navigation Updates'. When asked 'Do you want to prepare a device to download updates?', respond YES. Press OK for the next two screens and wait for the download to finish. Once completed, press 'Next' and then 'Done' and remove the USB stick. Go to your PC and insert the USB stick. At this point, you will be prompted to restart the program as a Uconnect device has been detected. Click OK and update Uconnect by selecting the map you need. Now click update and install. Once the program is installed on the USB stick, reinsert the USB stick into the car (with the engine running) and download the update to the onboard navigation system.
