Whenever you change the oil and its corresponding filter as required by the vehicle's service, you must reset the light that has illuminated on the instrument panel to indicate that a service is due. To do this, access the cabin, sit in the driver's seat, and turn on the instrument panel without starting the engine. Press the accelerator pedal fully and hold it down while simultaneously pressing the brake pedal 7 times consecutively. After that, release the brake pedal but continue to hold the accelerator down for 60 seconds. Then release the accelerator pedal and turn off the ignition. Wait another 60 seconds and turn the ignition back on; this will turn off the service light.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow to Reset the Tire Pressure Light on a MG ZS?
On the instrument cluster of the MG ZS, the tire pressure light that appears can be reset by inflating the tires to the correct pressure: this value will be indicated on the sticker attached to the driver's door pillar. Once the tires have been properly inflated, you can turn on the instrument cluster and navigate through the menu until you find the option that indicates tire pressure: if this screen shows the new values, the light will turn off; otherwise, you will need to drive for a few miles so that the sensors can read the new values and turn off the light afterward. by ScegliAuto More videos
