Replace the External Temperature Sensor on Fiat Punto

This video tutorial shows how to replace the external temperature sensor on a Fiat Punto when it inaccurately reads the temperature and does not provide an adequate reading. You can buy the part on Amazon to save money; it costs around £15.00. First, once you have purchased the external temperature sensor, lift the front bonnet of the car where the engine is located. Then, make space by unscrewing the screws that hold the air filter box in place, and also disconnect the spring underneath and remove the box. Next, remove the coil pack. Then, drain the car's coolant, being careful when disconnecting the coolant hose as it may splash. At this point, disconnect the connector and unscrew the two screws located at the back. Clean the area where the temperature sensor will be positioned with a cloth. Place the seal on the sensor with a bit of black paste for security. Screw in the sensor and then proceed to reassemble all the parts in reverse order. Once all parts are reassembled, perform a test to check if the temperature remains stable and that the job has been done correctly.
