How to Change the Thermostat on the Fiat Punto 1400

The thermostat activates the exchange between the hot liquid in the engine and the cooler liquid contained within the radiator, which has been cooled by the fan. Inside the thermostat, there is a sensor that monitors the temperature of the coolant and thus controls its activation. The valve is located on the side of the engine block, just below the vacuum pump. First, remove the plate that supports the electrical cables, disconnect the hoses, the sensor connector, and unscrew the fixing bolts to remove it.
