In this video, we will see how to replace the water pump on a Fiat Punto Multijet. As the first step, open the engine bay and remove the plastic engine cover by loosening the clips and the respective fixing screws. Next, repeat the procedure to remove the cover of the auxiliary belt, which will give you full visibility of the water pump. Now, it will be necessary to loosen the tensioner using the bolts present, then remove the bolts that secure the water pump to the engine block. After this step, you can remove the water pump.
