To replace the water pump on a Fiat Punto, open the bonnet to access the components located inside the engine compartment: on the left side of the engine block, you will find the timing belt, which must be detached from the water pump pulley. By loosening the central nut of the pulley, you can completely remove it and also pull out the water pump from its housing; at this point, you can insert the new water pump and check that everything functions correctly.
