How to Install New Grilles in a Fiat Grande Punto

To install new grilles in a Fiat Grande Punto, first remove the old clip-in grilles: simply unclip them and pull them out of their position. Before proceeding with the installation of the new components, ensure the bumper is clean and degreased. At this point, use a syringe with body sealant, either polyurethane or standard silicone, and then clip the upper grille into place. Next, move on to the installation of the lower grille: apply some adhesive, position the grille adhering it first to the lower edge, and use body tape to temporarily secure it at the edges so it does not fall while you work on securing the upper part. Also secure the upper part of the grille with tape, placing a strip both above and below the fixing line where you will insert the syringe with the sealant; this will allow for a clean job once the tape is removed.
