How to Install a Steering Wheel Spacer on a Fiat Panda Latest Model

In this video tutorial, you can see how to install a steering wheel spacer on a Fiat Panda latest model: the first step is to lift the bonnet and secure it with the appropriate prop, then disconnect the battery. Get into the driver's seat and insert a flat-head screwdriver into the holes at the back of the steering wheel to disconnect the airbag (you need to release the spring clip inside the holes), so be patient. Once the clips are released, the entire airbag unit will come out. At this point, disconnect the wires connected (horn and airbag). After removing the airbag, there is a red and black connector for the steering wheel controls inside the steering wheel; find the tab, pull it, and the connector will come away. Now unscrew the central nut and then pull off the steering wheel, gently sliding the cables. Next, take the female aluminium part and pass the cables through the hole above, then insert the spacer into the steering column. Refit the central nut to 60 Nm (using a torque wrench); attach the steel part of the spacer to the corresponding aluminium part using the screws included in the kit (tighten to a torque of 8-10 Nm). Now reassemble everything in reverse order.
