Operation: How to replace the points and the condenser on the vintage Fiat 500 (1957 - 1975)

In this video we will show you how to replace the points and the condenser on a vintage Fiat 500 (1957 - 1975). To begin with, remove the cap and then use a screwdriver to check the pins to see if they are punctured. If they are punctured, unscrew the nut you see in the video with an 8 spanner and loosen the safety catch. Then remove the platinum-plated pins and remove the condenser cable. Now reinsert the new platinum styluses and tighten the safety catch. Reassemble the condenser and its cable. Then proceed with the registration of the stylus by placing it at maximum contact opening as seen in the video.
