In this video, you will learn how to replace the points and condenser on the classic Fiat 500 (1957 - 1975). To begin, remove the cap and then use a screwdriver to check the points for wear. If they are worn, unscrew the nut you see in the video with an 8mm spanner and loosen the safety clip.

Next, remove the platinum points and disconnect the condenser wire. Now, insert the new platinum points and tighten the safety clip.

Refit the condenser and its respective wire. Then proceed to adjust the points by setting them to maximum contact opening as shown in the video.
