It may happen that the strap of the fuel cap on your Fiat Panda, version 169, which is not the newest model, has broken. This means you have to hold the cap in hand while refuelling to avoid losing it. However, there is a way to replace it, and you can purchase the replacement strap online: find it on eBay with the code 324762077117, costing £9.99 (which is quite a lot for a strap, but shipping is free). Replacing it only requires a bit of patience. Remove the cap and strap, then take off the ring that held the strap in place. Using a small screwdriver, carefully extract the base of the strap from its holes without breaking it. Then, with the same care, replace it with the new one. Reattach the strap to its fitting, and you’re done!
