When replacing the front shock absorbers, it is essential to have the appropriate clamps to compress the spring. Once the shock absorber is removed from the vehicle, apply the clamps and compress the spring to disassemble the upper mount and remove the dust cover. Then, fit the dust cover onto the new shock absorber, insert the spring, and install the mount, securing it to the rod with the appropriate nut (consider whether to replace the mount as well). Finally, release the clamps to allow the spring to expand, ensuring it is correctly seated in its location.
