In this video, the YouTuber shows us the damage that poor quality lubricants can cause; in this case, on a Fiat Grande Punto, but applicable to all cars. Oil was leaking from the first cylinder, clogging and shorting the spark plug, causing the vehicle to run on three cylinders.

Upon inspection of the engine, the piston rings were full of sludge, and the cylinder head, despite having less than 90,000 miles, was deemed unusable; the oil sump looked like a sewer in Calcutta; all this because poor quality lubricant was used. When you go to your mechanic for an oil change, demand high-quality oil, otherwise, you will face the issues we've seen, and the damage is irreversible; now, to fix this engine, significant (and costly) work is required that could have been avoided simply by using high-quality oil.

How to Reset the Tire Pressure Light on a MG ZS?
