How to Remove the Steering Wheel from the Fiat Seicento

The first step when you want to remove the steering wheel from a Fiat Seicento is to take off the two plastic covers located on either side of the steering column. This will give you access to the hex screws that need to be removed. Once these are unscrewed, you can proceed to uninstall the airbag, which is no longer held in place by screws. Remember to disconnect the electrical connector without yanking it. Complete the operation by removing the nut that secures the steering wheel to the column, located just beneath the airbag. Now the steering wheel is free and can be pulled from its position.
