The EGR valve functions to reintroduce a portion of the exhaust gases back into the intake for post-combustion, thus reducing emissions; constant contact with exhaust gases, which are often contaminated with oil vapours and unburnt diesel, tends to dirty the valve to the point of clogging it and causing it to stick in the open position, allowing exhaust gases to continue entering the intake; it is therefore advisable to perform a thorough cleaning of the valve body by separating it from its actuator and immersing it in petrol to dissolve all residue, ensuring that the shutter moves freely and closes perfectly.

Replacing Battery on Yamaha T-Max 530

In this video, let's see how to remove and replace the battery on a Yamaha T-Max 530, following these simple steps. First, lift the seat and unscrew the screws located on the side of the handlebars; then remove the plastic covers and unscrew the fixing screws of the battery cover to remove it.
