How to Repair the Gear Knob on a Fiat Panda

If the gear knob comes off when changing gears, you need to find a solution to securely reattach it. The knob comes off because the seat of the rod wears down, creating play and allowing it to slip off. Therefore, you need to somehow thicken the seat of the rod by applying a sleeve. A quick and economical solution is to use the cap from insulin syringes, which has the right dimensions and elasticity to fit properly. Insert the spring, the cap that acts as a sleeve, and finally the knob.

Reset the Service Light on Fiat Bravo
